Julie C. Phillips
Hello
Julie's artwork embodies a childlike awe that originated from her early experiences with finger painting at the Fort Worth Children's Museum. With a vast collection of photographs and cherished memories from her enchanting excursions, she skillfully composes captivating pieces that evoke the magic she encounters. Spirituality serves as a profound connection in her work, drawing inspiration from the natural world and conveyed through her unique processes and techniques.
In a world driven by haste and automation, Julie finds solace and inspiration in the stillness and presence offered by the natural environment. Her fascination with nature's infinite variety and enigmatic puzzles fuels her creativity, making her a natural ally to the artistic expression found within it. Julie's design process is marked by a blend of planned spontaneity, resulting in visceral and captivating compositions.
Having dedicated over two decades to art education, Julie has embarked on a new chapter as the creator and owner of WildSeed Art, LLC. Known for her high energy and active involvement in various art organizations in Weatherford, Texas, and surrounding areas, Julie's artistic journey is amplified through her partnership with another artist and the ownership of WildSeed Art Workshops, LLC.
While Julie advocates ardently for the integration of arts in education, she also cherishes the time spent with her husband Randy, tending to their 11-acre land. As a loving mother to two incredible sons and a cherished YaYa to five grandchildren, Julie's artistry resonates with the joy and warmth that family brings to her life.
In summary, Julie is an artist who brings forth an empowering and transformative artistic experience as an educator while producing captivating artwork that explores the delicate balance of nature. Her unique processes and techniques, combined with her contagious energy and commitment to the arts, make her a truly remarkable artist.
